Most people comment about Nise adaptation is overall is better than Bake in terms of visuals, but what about OST?
Personally, I felt Bake soundtracks better reflect the Monogatari series than Nise. Most of Bake soundtracks even the most lighhearted ones are
wierd,
mysterious,
other worldly and giving
supernatural vibes to the series and even some are rather
depressing. Nise soundtracks are too lively and upbeat and even Kaiki’s theme doesn’t felt that
ominous. I am aware that Nise isn't as serious as Bake storywise, but I would rather prefer BGM that contains more air of mystery and suspense the former possess.
