Some more thoughts pointing to Angel being an android, or perhaps even a cyborg who is just following a programming:
- no reaction to being wounded (no pain/fear/anger etc.)
- shows no emotions
- only reacts, e.g. only puts up shield after she is hit, not before
- only answers questions (like in the beginning where Otonashi asked her), doesn't talk by herself
