I recently reread volume 3.. the translated parts. I guess its fair to say that the attitudes of the characters and the events follow the book pretty closely. Might still be way too early before any of the girls see Ryuji as a romantic option. I must admit that I had originally thought that anime is changing the scenes from the novels...but thats because:

And no Roan, no idea how volume 3 ends. but lets hope the anime follows it to a tee. If they just follow the volumes, I be estatic.

I must admit that I had originally thought that anime is changing the scenes from the novels...but thats because: Spoiler for Thoughts: I had Ryuji "goggles" on the first time I read it, and imagined alot more love for him from all the girls. For example, I could of swore Taiga got really mad (yelled about Ryuji being hers) then stormed out ignoring Kitamura. But rereading it, she kinda did yell but done sarcastically and afterwards made a point that hating Ami is the main reason. Also they dropped the jealousy part... the little there is, pretty quickly in the novel too. In fact, I am deeply disappointed, because Ryuji should either get Ami or get more from Taiga And no Roan, no idea how volume 3 ends. but lets hope the anime follows it to a tee.
