The fan service was scary on some parts, and I was a bit bothered by how some of my favorite Higurashi songs were used on ridiculous scenes, and it seemed really unfitting.
I do like the design, it's awesome and cute. ^^ The opening was cute too but I can see why some people are calling it lazy. The repeated animation of their heads moving was kinda... weird? .-. The ending was nice too. But yes I am grateful that Higurashi is getting new episodes again, it was nice to see more of one of my favorite anime again. It's great to see Rena again. *-*
Next episode looks awesome judging form the preview, so I look forward to it.
