I've only read volume one of the English version, and it was a lot better than the last Tokyopop translation I saw. I laughed at "I knew the way you looked at honey wasn't normal" and even the translations that made me suspiscious were correct.
Changing "desu" to "yes" was definetly an odd choice. I thought they would've just left it out. It's unfortunate, but not enough to stop me from buying the rest.
I'll have to read the untranslated manga so I can say something about the differences between it and the anime.
