No!
There was no Final Fantasy IV port either.
Apparently, Square messed up all of its playstation ports, but they had to put my two favourites together to get my hopes up.

Yeah, much of Japan caters to the R1 American market, so Europe gets the shaft a lot. I kind of feel for you.

I heard the Final Fantasy III port for DS was great, and all of the ports for SP were excellent (though they had some very minor flaws), so I expect this one to be just as good (or better
).
