Maes Hughes, there are a lot of anime out there where fan service is much more intrusive than it is in Code Geass, even in this current episode. Chalk it up to cultural difference. You just have to live with it
Apart from taking up a bit of screen time, it doesn't really get in the way of the episode itself.

Well, I found it funny up until Gino came and took her away, after that I found it superfluous.
