The bits seem to be able to damage the shields but that's about it. Imagine that the BTs have standard beam rifle while the Starlight MKIII is VSBR set to piercing shot. Then again, by gundam reference the hi-nu and nu's funnels could blow a hole in a carrier and sink it >.>
