A bit too many parallel lines in the mermaid picture. Composition seems a bit awkward.
Anyway good stuff again. Glad to see you using a bit more broken tones in coloring but I think you could tone them down even more. There are still quite big contrast in both luminosity and color. I tend to thing it's better to have one or the other. I prefer using fairly low saturation in highly contrasted edges and then again low contrast in highly saturated ones. Pictures come out a bit less "in your face".
