9/10 from me.
Kanon was undoubtedly one of the most expected anime of fall. The very first episode was boring as hell, but as I kept watching, I became so immersed in the story. I believe that the arc that was done the best was Makoto's. I cried a river...
Anyway...
My only complaint would have to be the way high-school girls were portrayed. I don't know if high-school girls in Japan are like Nayuki or Sayuri, but I do know that the girl who seemed to be closer to the high school reality I'm used to is Kaori. However, this has nothing to do with the anime, as they adapted already existing material.
Now, I'll need to play the game to fully understand Kanon...
