I thought the episode itself was pretty good. I liked the animation, the pacing, and the different feeling from the first arc, but... man, those were
definitely not the voices I imagined for Mello and Near. Near's seemed too feminine to me - I was hoping for something a little more boyish. As for Mello, I can't quite pinpoint it... too deep? Not crazy enough? I liked Light's and L's voices right off the bat, but I think I'm really going to have to get used to hearing these two.
But yeah, still a good episode though.
