Install RealMedia Splitter.

There are Windows installers also available at the next download page, which should help make the installation a bit easier.
Once installed, then try the .avs script in VirtualDub.

When you open the script into VirtualDub, what errors do you get?
Is the file playable in your video player? (Perhaps within Windows Media Player? ...VLC and mplayer/MPUI don't count due to internal codecs)
