Yeah, AA was the biggest disappointment, for all his self-stated limitless capability. Barragan was outright imba though, any -other- skill would pale in comparison to his respira. Hell, it's fast enough to catch up to Soifon Gonzales, strong enough to break some millenia-lasting kido in seconds, and wide enough to cover a full squad. Talk about nukes.
Still, about the "SS invasion" thing: Aizen alone can take on everyone in SS, and the only ones who could possibly stand a chance, maybe, if Aizen was drunk and it was their very lucky day, are Tousen and Ichigo...but one is loyal to his evil justice and the other is outright weak.
