With Kagura's "reverse" power so much potentially goes out the window. Like, can we guess that he usually means the opposite of what he says, except when it's clear he does mean what he says? Or only some of the time? It's enough to make my head hurt, and it's why I don't know *what* I think about him anymore.
And having that "reverse" power available in a show that's so based on myths repeating, fated lovers, and so on...seems really convenient, doesn't it? I thought Mikono's power was bad enough in terms of how it could be used for misdirection, but Kagura's power is seemingly at an entirely different tier...
And, when Kagura got turned into a wolfbeast, is that because he *overdid it* and reversed himself all the way back into a manimal? Or something?
. So many new possibilities now, so much room to modify the original mythology.
Kagura's scene makes me wonder if Kawamori was doing a shout-out to that Looney Tune's episode with "I will name him George and hug him and squeeze him..." in it (
