It isn't impossible, but highly unlikely right now. Who knows, I could be wrong though. Still, they aren't going to directly use mythology in this show except for small little references.

She couldn't introduce herself as "Eris", since Eris is also an occasionally used name, she would have had to have specified "The Goddess Eris". The number of lip movements don't have to have anything to do with what she's actually saying - a lot of the time animators don't think ahead.
She could also have introduced herself as "Discordia" or "Eris Discordia". The idea of her knowing the American forefathers - being there at a time of revolution, strife, seems like the kind of thing a goddess would do, not a historical figure as it'd be too hard to tie them to multiple histories. Remember, she doesn't even remember how old she is, really. She could be 300 or 3000 years old. Or the reincarnation theory could be true. Besides, who but a goddess could speak to dead people?
