Hello semi-automatic rifles, that looks similiar to a Lee-Enfield or Karabiner 98k,with a fixed 5-stripper magazine, that seems like it can only be loaded though the opening above, it also has the similiar jamming problems, i.e. two bullets would wedge itself, in the breech, when the magazine was filled to capacity, it only happens to the last few rounds.
But the firing rate is similiar to a M1 Garand, very strange.

As for the finacee, hmm...I smell another rat, it's always the case, while if it doesn't turn out he's a villian with a ulterior-motive, i'll be pleasantly surprised.
