V6 Chapter 3 gives us about the only insight into their history as of yet:

In old NN days, Raker was part of the ICBM strategy that gave her said nickname: by herself, or carrying a damage dealer, she'd jump above the frontlines all the way to the rear ends, against the long-range weakly-armoured avatars in the back. Pard the 'speed demon' as quoted by Niko, would fall back the instant this happened, and so the two of them beat each other around a lot.

From that you probably can infer Raker won most of the fights if she went up to 8 and Pard remained at 6.
