Hmm, good question. He's 23, but that doesn't always matter with Japanese families. In one of my host families, the grandmother, parents, their daughters, the oldest daughter's husband and 2 kids all lived in the same house.
But Tokyo is way more expensive than other areas. He's always at work, though... I bet he has his own place with a roommate.
