I have yet to see Tsuritama & Chihayafuru, so I can't say much on those.
Horizon takes the spot for me over Fate/Zero, I found myself much more engaged in its story even if it started off a bit difficult back in S1, but man was S2 freaking awesome in where it went and how things developed alongside with building on what was started in S1. F/Z itself was nice as well, though there were definitely no surprises for me since I had read the light novel quite some time before it was even announced to be animated. I more or less enjoyed the characters more than the story for Fate/Zero not by much though. Meanwhile for Horizon, I was pretty much overwhelmed by how much I had enjoyed the story as well as how much the characters themselves were great to watch.

Now I haven't seen Danshi or Jinrui so I can't consider those. Between Chuu2Koi and Yuru Yuri, I really had enjoyed both as they gave me quite a large amount of laughs. Though Yuru Yuri wins this for me in that well, I'm pretty sure I laughed quite a number of times each episode compared to Chuu2Koi.
If Haiyore Nyaruko-san! had got in, then well I don't know how I'd have choosen between that or Yuru Yuri.

Really, I had enjoyed the hell out of S1, and I expected to again for S2. Though it blew all expectations I had for it and then some for every episode every week. I loved every bit of it. While it had an already large cast from S1, it added a another large group of characters into the fray. I was really wondering how that would have turned out, but everyone had their moment to shine. Some more than others of course. But when characters of different countries / opposing sides got their time in the limelight, man was it something to behold!

There was also some very golden comedy throughout the series. The "what is sex gag" for a few of the more...clueless characters was just hilarious. I also appreciated how comedy was used in the way it helped lighten the intense mood of when the show was getting pretty darn heavy in it's politics/negotiation debates. Good time to take a breather.

Epic battles throughout it, whether it is 1 v 1 or a massive fleet battle. Named characters, or even the "grunts" of opposing sides all get a chance to do something awesome.

Ah I had forgotten to vote this as a nomination Well between this or K-ON! I can say I vastly enjoyed this much more. It was great to see Ed + Al again for another adventure, guess I'm a bit bias here for it now that I think of it...

I'll admit I'm probably severely biased here as Kirei is my favorite TM character and has been for 3 or so years now. Either way watching how things played out for him was a an enjoyable experience.
I wish I could eat some Mapo Tofu with him!

- Rider was as awesome as I expected him to be animated, but I'll give this up to Natsume-chan~ As I was really impressed of how awesome she was in Tonari.

No contest here for me. While the other nominees had very nice tracks, Horizon had an OST that was completely outstanding. Usually only 2 or 3 tracks really keep my interest after a series is finished, but the Horizon ost 2 was magnificent to listen to. Lots of epic tracks were used in extremely fitting ways. Well aside epic there were also some pretty relaxing/friendly ones, along with maybe a strange track or 2 as well. Though they are all enjoyable.

Anyways, Klashikari already listed some favorites of mine from the ost. Well...2 other tracks that I enjoy that weren't listed -- Ketsui wo Himete & Tamerainaku Tobikomu no wa

• Shin Sekai Yori

- Out of the nominees this is the one I'm enjoying the most. If only Uchuu kyoudai got nominated for this!

Edit: I guess it's obvious that I'm a definite fanboy/supporter of Horizon.
I can definitely see it's not a series for everyone, but worth checking out. It's definitely something you need to watch in whole before saying anything about it. I guess for new comers the first 3 episodes will definitely be the biggest obstacle. If you can get past that then you'll be greatly rewarded IMO.

Well regardless of what others think of it I shall love it for what it is. Along with the flaws that exist in it as well.
