but energy is still baryonic matter/normal matter. If it comes in contact with positron won't it annihilate? Unless ofcourse the barrier is that thick or it's actually a positron based shield
plasma is a high energy state particle. If I think about it it's only highly energized particles. It could go through the barrier on merit of the sheer energy in each particle. particle beams are also technically plasma I think. Positron I have yet to actually see much of talk about it other than theoretical paper and books.
