That begs the question, of course: are the "best" (most original, most striking etc.) anime out there produced free of these constraints?
I would
love to see some data about the schedules of the most profiting anime studios in the market at the moment. I mean, if you've got a good premise, even subpar execution won't screw it up, right?
And vice-versa.
