It's the 45th anniversary of
Weekly Shounen Jump, but we don't know the real reason. With the original cast getting on in years (and a few members already passed on), maybe they wanted to give one last hurrah with the main characters still played by the same people.
Incidentally, the 30th anniversary of the manga is at the end of next year, and the 30th anniversary of the anime isn't until 2016.
