I read it on another forum, but what if Lucy does die in this arc? She might come back, maybe if her spirits revive her or something. Or she might go away for a little bit. It'd add some drama.
And just a random thought, but i find it cool that despite that Lucy isn't as popular as other main characters like Natsu, Gray, and Erza, and Laxus and Gajeel in some polls and discussions, threads on her are always frequent and lengthy at the forums i visit. I guess everyone has a lot to say about her lol
