I wondered about that too... but she seems pretty resigned to that fact just a few seconds later.
Perhaps she was jus truly there for her 'job' and while knowing about Keiichi's character that allowed him to be granted a wish, she didn't know much about him personally. So perhaps her incredibly good natured personality makes her accept the new position she is in and over time she gets to know and like Keiichi more.
