Now if I remember correctly, Imouto always wakes Kyon up everyday since he likes to sleep as late as possible. Therefore, to avoid suspicion, Kyon must do the unthinkable, wake up early!
Now this opens a whole other thing. What about the sleeping arrangements? Who gets the bed? Well since it's technically both of theirs bed they're not going to back down over who gets the floor. If the Kyons have one thing they're passionate about, it's sleep. Therefore, the obvious solution is to share the bed.
