Indeed it won't, but in some cases I have no problem with making sure the perpetrators have no eyes left.

Hope they throw the book at the mom and the sister and whoever else that tried to cover it up, at the very least they should be charged with conspiracy/accessory after the fact, disposing the murder weapon isn't just "making false statements" or "hindering investigations".
