I was reading "Wizard" earlier, and there was an article on, I think, "X-Men", which mentioned its #151 issue and its coverage of future (not sure if it's canon, though) events. Humans a near extinct species, cloned(?) soldiers fighting for the villian who looks like a white tiger that have mutant DNA spliced into them - it gave the example of Nightcrawler clones with Multiple Man and Cyclops DNAs - and a Phoenix egg. Very cool storyline and art.
There's also Marvel's new "Cosmic Wars" plotline that looked interesting also.
I forgot that I also read
"Girl Genius" by Studio Foglio, but issues come every six months or so. It's about an alternate Earth with a steam-punk society. There are people with the Spark who are talented geniuses like Dr. Frankenstein and everyone else basically serve them. Great art, story is nice, but it taking months to come out sucks, IMHO.
