I read it too, and I agree. It's merely ok. It's one of those novels that have a great plan, but doesn't execute as well as it could have (think of Guilty Crown except nowhere the disaster in execution). It's fine for a light read if you want to kill some time or just enjoy a novel, but I wouldn't call it a must read in the same manner as High School DxD or Full Metal Panic.
