Well, if you compare this with Madan which has the same genre,
Character: Madan>Naga
Plot: Madan>Naga
Harem: Madan>Naga
War: Naga>>Madan
I prefer Madan over this, however if we are simply comparing the two series in terms of how the LN displays the war, then Naga is better. People may get tired reading it, but the author puts so much details during the battles. It even comes with the illustrations of the formation during the war which brings more life in it.
