I've been estimating a fall 2011 debut personally. That would be a good time in comparison to the overall length of the manga.

Thats irrelevant. Its entirely dependent on if a studio wants to adapt it and so far they have shown an early interest in doing so. Its not like there is a line and Medaka has to get in the back of it.
Westlo would know better than me whether Zaregoto is showing signs of being animated or not.
