It was definitely a bit rushed but it was a great ending. Everyone was happy and the time skip was done nicely. There was plenty of classic funny moments too. I would have thought we'd see Masuo freak out on their first night as husband and wife, but whatever.

I give this series a 5 out of 5.

the best thing about the last volume was that Hamaoka didn't settle for Funakoshi and is still looking for true love. the guy is persistant and i laughed at his desperation move.

by the way if you liked this series you should try "Orange Yane no Chiisana Ie" little house with a orange roof by one of the people that worked in Yume de Aetera, same art.
