Arika in her Meister Robe tries in vain to step in the way, but Fia swats her aside and escapes.

Originally, I thought that Cartleya ambushed the Aswald village to force them spill out what was Artai's intend of Garderobe's siege.

Now we have two enemy parties within the storyline: Nagi+Schwarz and Cartleya.

If they stole Aswald's REM technology, Cartleya is also coveting to create and build up their private Otome army of their own.

However, it is more to create devices that will allow Cartleya's soldiers to tap on and have the same powers of an Otome.
Midori's REM allows her to tap on Otome Powers without no need of a nano-machine controlled Robe, although for a limited amount of time.

Much like Artai+Schwarz has done so in this episode.

And I'm calling out ShizNat fans out there to give support to Shizuru x Natsuki fandom shipping, because I might speculate that some ShizNat fans won't be very happy with the ToShiz displayed on this episode.
