I wish it was normal length, but otherwise I loved the first episode. It's a different, more adult, take on a romantic comedy than I've seen in anime before. And Aka is really cute, which doesn't hurt things either.

Definitely looking forward to the subs so I can get all the dialogue, my Japanese skills suck enough I caught maybe 5% of what they were saying.

Spoiler: I couldn't believe that Fumihiko's rounding home plate less than eleven minutes after the show starts, but I guess that's one way for Aka to take her mind off losing her apartment. Now that they've physically gotten further than most anime couples get even after 26 episodes, it'll be interesting to see how their relationship evolves from here. Could be an interesting role reversal of the usual stereotypes if Aka just dismisses it as casual sex but it meant something more to Fumihiko... It's kind of weird Aka has no friends or family to turn to when her apartment burned down, but if she came to Tokyo to make it big as a seiyuu from some other part of the country, I guess that'd make sense.
