Chart News: Here are this week's anison entries in the Oricon Top 30:
#30 (↓3) "Connect" by ClariS (Puella Magi Madoka Magica OP), 2,253 copies sold. Already said enough of this awesome song.
#16 (↓8) "Tomodachi no Uta" by BUMP OF CHICKEN (Doraemon: Shin Nobita to Tetsujin Heidan - Habatake Tenshi-tachi movie ED), 6,846 copies sold. Smooth slide, won't be surprised if it's still here next week.
#13 "SHINING STAR" by 9nine [prounced as nine] (STAR DRIVER: Kagayaki no Takuto OP2), 7,669 copies sold.
"Better than the series' first OP, a sugary sweet song from the five member (not 9?) girl idol group."
#12 "La La La Sweet Pretty Cure" by Mayu Kudo (Suite Precure OP)
"Another year, another set of precure songs from the Kudo and Ikeda but this year I prefer the ED over the OP, maybe it's the shout-back, or the 3-D, or the dancing... whatever, both songs are catchy and Purikyua will stuck in your head for some time. Don't say I didn't warn you"
Wonderful Powerful Music!! by Aya Ikeda (Suite Precure ED), 7,725 copies sold.
#10 "Sakurane" by Piko (Yorinuki Gintama-san ED4), 9,154 copies sold.
"If there's a trap voice it's Piko. This GUY(! yeah I was like !?) was discovered on Nico Nico Douga video sharing site. That aside, I think it's a good
song, nice to listen 'til I need my next DOES fix."
#9 (↓7) "Answer" by no3b (Beelzebub ED), 10,794 copies sold.
"Songs related to AKB48 tend to linger the charts longer. Expect another week or 2 in the Top 30."
#3 "Mirai Bowl" by Momoiro Clover (Dragon Crisis! ED), 25,070 copies sold.
"Another week, another girl idol group (actually 2, see #13). I sound like a broken record but singles by girl idol groups generally do not merit the high sales they get. They should use that extra cash to film better videos, much better videos. Not unlike
THIS ONE (Don't say I didn't warn you, Pt. 2!)"
#2 "Yume Tamago" by NYC (Nintama Rantaro Ninjutsu Gakuen Zenin Shutsudou no Dan ED), 122,023 copies sold.
"Speaking of girl groups. This one is a boy band doing the ending song for the film shown last March 9. My sentiments above applies to their "rougher" gender counterpart."
Extra: #20 "1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou" by FLOW, 3,862 copies sold
FLOW is a regular here (COLORS, GO!!!, DAYS, Re:member, WORLD END & Sign) but "1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou" has no tie-in as far as FLOW is concerned but it is a cover of Rurouni Kenshin's sixth ending in 1997 by SIAM SHADE. Not much in term of changes, which is all good since the original is an absolute anison classic. Compare both songs below:
