I don't have an Xbox 360 either, unfortunately... Perhaps delete one of the smaller updates to test this out?
Though if I remember correctly, deleting the updates will only cause them to be redownloaded when you next launch the game (if it's similar to the Wii U's data management).
What's the capacity of your hard drive?
