That's not always true. It depends on the sisters personality imo. And its not always a fact that the older is stronger. I'de like to think that one of the sisters is really strong while the other focuses her life on different things. I guess it seems weird to a vampire family were strength is everything, but in my mind that would build a more interesting family for the story.
