I'm honestly not worried for Sheryl even if Alto picks Ranka. She'll be fine. There are plenty of fish left in the sea, and I suspect even if Alto and Ranka married Sheryl would support them and stay friends with them both while she picks her career back up.
Of course that's assuming the series events. TFS Sheryl still seems relatively lonesome, but I don't think we'll get a clear picture until The End.
