Great episode, and thanks for the info about the 4th volume of the novel. I, too, wanted to know about it. And i'll read the novel, for sure, but because the lack of time, it will take some time to get there.
Lawrence and Horo interaction was simply great. All the non-interaction of the other episodes can be redeemed by the stairs scene.
