*The scene when Sanetoshi was split in half his hair/body resembled a tree. A reference to the tree of life he killed in the Mary story?
*I loved the scene with Ringo and Shouma hugging in the snow, neither or them saying anything. The kissing scene with Himari and Shouma in the water was also very pretty and the soft colors with the music brought it together nicely.
*Seeing Sanetoshi's very own Survival Strategy blew my mind a bit. I've always wondered what that spinning-wheel-thing is but never thought of it being from the Survival Strategy intro. The apple replacing the glowing earth was also a surprise.
*I don't really understand when people say Momoka "trolled" everyone with the diary. She had to do it to keep Sanetoshi away from the Penguindrum. I don't think the show would be very entertaining if they told us what it was right away
*Sanetoshi's speech in the episode was in a way very touching. I think a lot of people no matter where in the world can relate to the feeling of not being needed, seen and the feeling of never gaining anything, to never amounted to anything. They wish to "finally become visable" as the rabbits put it.
I can agree with him on some parts, that we are all locked alone inside our "self". We can never make another person feel the same things as we do and never see the things they see. I can't help but wonder what kind of person Sanetoshi was when he was human and what kind of life he had. Probably not a big chance, but maybe we can get a short glimpse of it in the final episode.
