i wonder if madara hoped/intended hashirama would be resurrected...when i consider this option then all that talk during the kage fight sounds like "if you wanna beat me, betta bring hash to the field." when he finally arrives he rinnegan steals his chakra. cause, you know, thats what he really needs in order to attain the power of the sage...
