No, see, this is the mind game. Saki and Koromo are both magical, so they both knew what tile was needed to complete Saki's hand, and who had it. Now, Koromo sensed that Saki's hand wasn't enough to beat her, but she also knew from experience that her instinct wasn't reliable where Saki was concerned. So Saki needed something to convince Koromo to deal the risky tile.
Thus the whole "this is fun". What I wonder now is whether it was meant as a "Give me the tile and I'll be your friend, you poor lonely girl", or "Follow your gut! Protect your pride as a Mahjong monster! Take the completely useless risk."
