Just watched the first episode.
Spoiler for first impressions of Hantsuki:
Wow! Talk about drama!
I mean, a life threatening sickness already has potential for lots of it, but the tsundere characterization of Rika is a just great!
Music is beautiful, art is nice, and the acting by Takahashi Mikako is pretty convincing. The male lead done by Suzumura Kenichi was decent, different from his wimpy Junpei character in Ichigo 100%.
Only problem was that the characters reminded me of Shakugan no Shana, even the names are similar (Yuuji vs Yuuichi).
It's a pity that the series is only 6 eps long, with a one week hiatus until ep2.
But at least the plot is likely to move fast.
Overall, Hantsuki (looking up at the half-moon) is a promising show, nicely filling up the Shuffle! time slot.
A definite must see, and I hope that somebody subs it soon.
