The first few minutes of the movie will be her realising she never stood a chance/didn't actually love Tamako that way/girls can't love girls/finds someone else she loves/some other excuse and have her drop out immediately. The rest of the movie will be Tamako deciding between mochi or Mochizou as her one true love.
Alternatively the really cruel version would be to literally put her on a bus and have her return at the end to find that she lost.
