It won't be able to play GCN games. People are expecting that Nintendo will be releasing GCN games in HD at discount prices like how PS3 and XBox 360 get HD games from that gen. 3rd parties are likely to jump on that bandwagon, too. I hope for Wind Waker HD, Super Mario Sunshine HD, Metroid Prime Trilogy HD, and Tales of Symphonia HD. I love Wind Waker and SMS is a good game that makes me feel happy and I never played through MP 2 and 3 and I never played through ToS, so I'd purchase all of those.

Everyone, beware of one of the Siliconera links in the post below. I clicked on a link and Avast! anti-virus blocked the page and said it blocked malware. It was the link for "Nintendo's other collaborations with Platinum."
