How it would kill of your enjoyment of current Season if you were to read something from season 01 and 02. I know we novel reading guys may sound annoying but its mostly those that can read japanese and have read the current chapters.
I think you should just go off and read ZnT. I am sure you will enjoy it, maybe even more than you enjoyed watching the anime. I at least know guys who never were big fans of books and reading but still liked ZnT novels over the anime.
It wont kill off your initial experience of ZnT anime but it will probably make you like ZnT even more.
And reviews are never as good as actual chapters.
