Indeed a somewhat realistic kinda open ended harem end... a good and a somewhat sad ending...
The good thing about a harem series is that there's plenty of fish to chose from...
the somewhat not that good about it is that only one is expected to win in the end and more common than not, the main heroine is likely to be the winner (like in Love Hina)
Actually having a harem end is/are really difficult... especially if the series kinda depict the norm...
And only a few harem series can actually have a harem end or what others called as the tenchi solution/ending with Tenchi Muyo being one and seems to follow DXD and To love ru...
