If I remember correctly, the Minami-ke seasons were all made by different studios. Hence, Funimation will need to acquire the rights from each different studio.
I love this series so much. There really is never much to discuss about, but it is such a joy to watch. The Minami-ke franchise is probably one of my favorite series all-time. It just feels so nostalgic to watch. It makes me feel like I want to curl up under a blanket on the couch next to a fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate and watch the show. The vibe and feel of the show is unexplainable how it just gets.
