The movie takes place at the end of August, and Nagi's deadline to finish her doujin is 8/14.
Hata could push this manga forward pretty quickly if he wanted to. It's starting to feel like there's nothing really left between the end of the current arc and the final arc, anyways. All the hints and nudges he's been dropping with Athena, Yozora, Ikusa, Himegami, Mikado and the inheritance condition, ect all seem to tie to the main plot. The long summer arc is mostly just about developing Nagi enough that she's ready for the last story push.
