Nice review, but I totally disagree with that statement... In your MSG review you said you didn't watch the TV series - so I don't see how you could even make that statement.
The MSG movie trilogy cut out quite a few of the mini-stories that where prevalent in the TV series, I guess because they were mostly fillers that didn't influence the overall plot, but there were both similarly tragic and compelling, and did as much to show the evils of war as 0080 did.
