They can't do that, some sharp fans will start wondering if it means something, and if they do really means something, it'll be a big giveaway. They also always positioned the 4 charas cardboard figures in VVV's events like this, Shoko-Haruto side-by-side. No matter what happened between them in last quarter of 1st cour, Haruto-Shoko is still dubbed the main OTP (first protagonist and first heroine), until (if) proven otherwise later.
The glasses, though, interesting tidbits. Looks good on them.
